OUR
STORY

Where a love for camping meets life’s most beautiful celebrations. Built from passion, tested by nature, and approved by Nonna.

Peninsula Nomads is a boutique glamping experience born from a lifelong passion for the outdoors. I’ve been camping for over 37 years, since I was a toddler with my dad and uncles, from the high country to the coast and across continents. I’m a former soldier who knows what it means to truly camp rough and experienced every condition. But what I’ve learnt from my experience is you don’t have to compromise on comfort or style to enjoy nature (and who would want to). That’s what I’ve created with Peninsula Nomads.

For over seven years, I’ve hosted friends and family in my self styled bell tents, and I hold every setup to the highest standard. My bench mark is my mum (but call her Nonna) if it’s not good enough for her, it’s not good enough for anyone. I design every detail with that level of care and consideration.

Peninsula Nomads is a small, locally owned business—and everything we do is personal. From handcrafted décor like floral ornaments and string art I create myself, to carefully selected bedding I use in my own home, every detail matters. I’ve tested my tents in all weather conditions across Australia, so I know exactly what it takes to create a cosy, stylish and welcoming space.

Even my dog Jack, a cheeky little Jack Russell, comes on the ride. He’s part of the adventure too — though I try to keep him off the beds!

This it’s a passion project built on experience, family, and love for the outdoors. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply want to escape in style, I promise you a unique and unforgettable glamping experience.

Step into a world where nature becomes your sanctuary, and every camping experience is a journey of self-discovery. At Peninsula Nomads, we understand the unique importance of camping for those in the middle of life's adventures.
