We have opportunities available for passionate and enthusiastic team players to help set up and pack down at our events!
Event Labourer is responsible for working under instructions of an event team leader, assuming the role of assembling and dis-assembling tipis/ canvas tents, inspecting equipment for damage, checking equipment against an inventory list, among other duties. Moreover, event staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of set up/pack down, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.
Event Labourer responsibilities;
Unloading equipment and tipis from trucks and setting them up onsite at various locations across the Mornington Peninsula
Adhering to safety standards
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list
Packing up equipment when the event is completed
Event Labourer Requirements;
Outstanding organizational skills
Diligence and attention to detail
Punctual and reliable
Physical stamina and high energy levels
Be physically fit as this role can be physically demanding and high intensity
Excellent multitasking ability
Availability for various daytime shifts during the week and weekend
Have Australian work rights
Drivers license preferred (ability to tow a trailer highly advantageous)
